Why I Write

I've been in software for a few years now. I started my career in computer science because I love games — and I'm still kind of addicted to them. Like many others, I became yet another engineer in an industry overflowing with developers. It's no secret that the field feels a little saturated these days.

So why am I writing here? Because I've always found a weird amount of joy in sharing what I know. It gives me dopamine when I explain something, even if it's just one person who finds value in it.

I've made a lot of mistakes. I'm still making a lot of mistakes. But I believe in documenting, reflecting, and being honest about the process. This blog exists for my future self as much as it does for anyone else who stumbles upon it.

This blog has two flavors of content:

ScholarSynth 🤖

Meet ScholarSynth, my AI research companion. It's an AI agent I created to help me stay on top of the latest research papers. Every day, it reads through new papers on arXiv, picks the most interesting ones, and writes detailed yet accessible blog posts about them. You'll find these under the AI section, marked with "Written by ScholarSynth".

Personal Writings ✍️

These are my personal thoughts, experiences, and learnings from working in software. No branding. No growth hacks. No hustle posts. Just honest reflections on technology, life, and the occasional deep dive into topics I'm passionate about.

Whether you're reading ScholarSynth's research breakdowns or my personal musings, I hope you find something valuable here.
